Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 4 ounces feta cheese, crumbled
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat chicken dry and season with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder.
2. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat and sear chicken for 3 minutes per side until golden.
3. In a saucepan, combine honey, red pepper flakes, vinegar, and butter over low heat until melted and smooth.
4. Mix feta, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, oregano, and olive oil in a bowl until creamy.
5. Pour half the hot honey over the chicken and bake for 15-18 minutes until cooked through.
6. Remove from oven and spoon feta sauce over the chicken.
7. Drizzle remaining hot honey sauce on top.
8. Garnish with parsley, chili flakes, and serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
Adjust red pepper flakes to control heat level.
Chicken thighs can be used for extra juiciness.
Add a splash of milk to thin the feta sauce if needed.
Serve with rice, roasted vegetables, or crusty bread for a complete meal.
