Description
These low carb cheesy garlic chicken wraps are loaded with tender chicken, melty cheese, savory garlic, and wrapped in low-carb tortillas for a quick, satisfying, and keto-friendly meal.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded (or rotisserie chicken)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 large low-carb tortillas or wraps
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 handful baby spinach (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat a skillet or grill pan over medium heat and add olive oil. Warm tortillas in the microwave for 10–15 seconds covered with a damp paper towel.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, mozzarella, cheddar, cream cheese, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper. Add spinach if using and mix until well combined.
3. Divide the chicken mixture evenly among the tortillas, placing filling in the center of each.
4. Roll each tortilla tightly, tucking in the sides to form secure wraps.
5. Place wraps seam-side down in the skillet and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and cheese is melted.
6. Remove from skillet, slice diagonally, and serve hot with extra parsley if desired.
Notes
Do not overfill the wraps or they may split during cooking.
Toasting the wraps enhances flavor and texture.
Warm tortillas before filling to prevent cracking.
Mozzarella works best, but other cheeses can be used for variation.
Swap chicken for turkey or add bacon for extra flavor.
