Ingredients
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 large yellow onion, diced
8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1.5 pounds chicken breast, cooked and shredded
1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed and blanched
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup smoked Gouda cheese, shredded
1 cup crispy fried onions
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat and sauté onions and mushrooms until softened and browned.
Add minced garlic and cook for one minute until fragrant.
Stir in the heavy cream and simmer until slightly thickened.
Remove from heat and stir in the smoked Gouda until melted and smooth.
Fold in the shredded chicken and blanched green beans until well coated.
